Green from the heart: Meinhardt chooses Sennebogen
As the leading waste disposal company in the Rhein-Main region, Meinhardt Städtereinigung GmbH & Co. KG has been efficiently disposing and recycling waste for over four decades.
In the sorting and loading process, they rely on Sennebogen material handling machines. With their 14th Sennebogen 821, an electrically operated machine was used in Mainz for the first time at the end of 2012.
Meinhardt Städtereinigung employs around 600 people from numerous locations in the Rhein-Main region and uses a well thought out disposal approach for seamlessly reprocessing waste and recycling materials. At the Mainz facility, around 40,000 tons of bulk rubbish and 70,000 tons of biomass are processed every year. As a long-standing partner, they have trusted Sennebogen handling equipment for years and presently use more than a dozen machines. Meinhardt is trying out something new with its first electrically operated handling machine. The new stationery Sennebogen 821 Elektro ensures a smooth workflow for tasks that were earlier performed with only mobile machines. Toward the end of 2012, the local sales and service partner Baufahrzeuge Bordt GmbH delivered this 14th machine.
The advantages of the electrohydraulic machine which Meinhardt uses to continuously feed the bulk rubbish shredder are obvious to both the operator and driver. The electrical drive is quiet, emission-free and does not require refueling. Additional advantages are efficiency and low service and maintenance costs as well as a proven long service life. A range of 12 m and a 0.6 m³ HGT orange peel grab gives the driver an extended action radius. The raised assembly on a 4-point underframe as well as the elevatable and comfortable multicab offer a reliable overview of the shredder and sorting boxes.
The decision-makers around senior manager Alfred Meinhardt quickly understood that an electrical solution was the best choice both in terms of the environment and the bottom line. For over 12 years, the company has put its trust in reliable Sennebogen machines – and will continue to do, reaffirmed Alfred Meinhardt when accepting the handover.
On the premises of the waste disposal company, it is also clear that mobile Sennebogen machines get the job done right. These flexible, mobile machines are put to various users, whether in large halls while supplying the sorting lines or loading and unloading. In addition to standard household garbage and industrial waste, nearly every type of recycling material from scrap to biomass fuels is recycled and processed.
