Ecomondo develops companies' international business

Slightly more than five months after the 17th edition, Ecomondo organization activity is in full swing at Rimini Fiera. The sixteen halls will be entirely occupied. Trade visitors and foreign buyers profiled to ensure new business.

The sales campaign is giving excellent results and it is already certain that the sixteen halls at the expo centre that hosts the international exhibitions dedicated to the environment system (Ecomondo, Key Energy, Cooperambiente plus the debut of Key Wind and the return of Sal.Ve), will be entirely occupied by over 1,200 companies.

Rimini Fiera intends offering them an exceptionally valuable proposal, in the form of new international business prospects. During this period, the organizers’ foreign staff are attending selected trade fairs and qualified events (in Germany, Spain, France, Poland, Great Britain, Turkey and Brazil) to present the expos and accept registrations on behalf of exhibitors and qualified buyers, awaited from 14 countries in which the green economy is making decisive steps and which need suitable expertise and technologies. The starting point is formed by 2012 figures, with two thousand business meetings organized. The objective is to double them.

Buyers will make contact with the exhibitors before the huge Rimini event (scheduled from November 6th to 9th November), thanks to the online platform specially designed to arrange business meetings.

There are the same ambitious objectives as far as foreign visitor figures are concerned, which last year rose by 10.4%. On these visitors, very scrupulous profiling activity is currently being carried out, to ensure that the meetings scheduled at the expo are of the highest possible quality. Similar activity is being conducted on the representative association front. This enables to set up a network of relations facilitating access to information useful for finding opportunities and the key to access to community funding, as well as sharing proposals with carefully selected interlocutors such as managers and public administrators.

Simultaneously, an online communication and advertising project has been launched, which foresees the intensification, close to the event, of the spread of messages on the most qualified social networks.

The Ecomondo format is thus based on a new expo model, which extends its services beyond the actual exhibition days, really taking its place alongside the companies to share the business expectations with them.
