Vecoplan at Ecomondo: Visitors will learn everything about recycling solutions and get to know the team from the Italian branch office.

Ecomondo 2024: Vecoplan to present an innovative shredder

On its 96 square metres of exhibition space at Ecomondo (Hall A2, Stand 201-100), Vecoplan will be showcasing its VIZ 1300 S, a high-capacity shredder for recyclable materials. This machine is equipped for the first time with automatically adjustable counter-knives. Users can precisely adapt the shredder to different input and output requirements by selecting the right rotors, cutters and screen. With its low operating costs and maximum throughput, the VIZ is an impressive solution.

Another area of focus for Vecoplan is material processing for chemical recycling. This is an important contribution to the circular economy because it closes the gap between mechanical processing and energy recovery. Resources can be recovered from mixed, contaminated plastic waste that is too complex to be processed by mechanical recycling. Vecoplan relies on an efficient dry cleaning process. Visitors to the trade fair stand will be able to see what this material exactly looks like after processing.

Vecoplan will also take advantage of Ecomondo to present the well-organised team from its Italian subsidiary, which was established in 2021. All of the members are native speakers of Italian. Besides operating an independent sales office, the team has considerably expanded its service division. The Vecoplan Smart Center (VSC), which focuses on digitalisation, is augmented by reliable local support. Vecoplan has also systematically expanded the spare parts supply for its Italian customer base. This enables it to provide the Italian market with direct support.

Industry visitors will not only be able to talk with Vecoplan’s experts at the stand, they will have a chance to experience “live” operation of the machines on interactive touch screens.
