A greener future with Bonfiglioli’s Recycling solutions

Bonfiglioli in order to ensure high quality operations and the best result in the recycling process conceives, designs and produces specific solutions for collection, downsizing and sorting of waste materials. These solutions are developed with the highest levels of customization and designed according to the customer's needs.

As regards heavy-duty primary shredding, Bonfiglioli presents its R3 Series.These planetary gearboxes are available with a peak torque range from 80,000 up to 129,000 Nm and gear ratios from 92 to 115. Equipped with sensors that measure performance and cycle time, the Series offers condition monitoring and predictive maintenance services, through IoT platform. Bonfiglioli’s R&D department provides its decades of experience to evaluate and design customized interfaces, as well as input and output shaft, tailored to meet the specific needs of customers. The R3 Series has been chosen by Arjes, a German worldwide leading supplier of shredders and KOMPLET, an Italian global leader for the construction of treatment systems and waste recycling equipment, in a collaborative co-engineering effort with Bonfiglioli.

For light-duty applications such as reverse vending machines (shredding or compactor) and stand alone shredders, Bonfiglioli offers high reliability and long operating life. For the former, the Group has designed a complete package solution that features the EVOX CP coaxial gearbox with a smooth surface that can be fitted to any machine thanks to its compatibility with market standards, the MXN asynchronous low-voltage e-motor (IE3) developed to be modular, reliable, energy efficient internationally certified, and the AxiaVert smart inverter, featuring integrated functional safety and high application versatility, also for IoT. Another product bundle includes the IE3 efficient W Series universal worm geared motor and an extremely compact asynchronous motor from the M Series, which is CUS and CCC certified.

Regarding stand alone shredders, Bonfiglioli showcases a planetary gearbox of the 300 Series, characterized by a compact design and high shock load resistance, coupled with a BE Series asynchronous motor and an ACU inverter, offering both compactness and flexibility.
