Pentair, a leader in delivering smart sustainable water solutions to people, business and industry worldwide, has recently completed a modernization of its manufacturing facility in Lugnano, Italy. The facility produces industry-leading pumps, valves and motors for water filtration, water movement and aquatic systems for different Pentair brands as Sta-rite (formerly Nocchi) Fleck, Siata, Autotrol, Simer, Flotec and a number of other Pentair pump, filtration and aquatic system products.
The facility investment included a new automated production line for efficient motors with 30% higher capacity and a new 2,000m2 warehouse that will improve stock management, reduce lead time and down time. The new facility is earthquake-proof and continues to be 100% self-powered via hundreds of photovoltaic panels on the roof. Multiple Pentair business segments were brought together in a newly refurbished modern office building, providing additional space for a state-of-the-art training facility.
