Enrico Friz new CEO of Waste Italia
Enrico Friz is the new CEO of Waste Italia S.p.A., leader in the Italian domestic market in in waste management and environmental services part of Kinexia Group (“Kinexia"), Group listed on the MTA segment of the Italian Stock Exchange, active in the fields of renewable energy and the environment.
Friz, 52, graduated in Agronomy at the University of Padua, and has many years’ experience in the environmental sector. Former Director of the Business Unit Industry Environment in the A2A Group, a multi-utility listed on the Milan Stock Exchange active in the production, sale and distribution of electricity and gas, waste management and integrated water cycle. Within the A2A group, Friz has acted as CEO of Ecodeco Srl, a company specializing in the treatment and development of urban and special waste, for which he has followed the corporate reorganization and integration of the supply chain environment until the incorporation of A2A Environment.
Earlier, after being Director of the Division for the North East American multinational Waste Management, Friz has gained experience in the Enel Group, where he acted as CEO of Wisco Spa, a company operating in the environmental services sector, and the Pirelli Group , where he was General Manager of Pirelli & C. Ambiente, start-up active in the field of renewable energy and environmental services and Veolia Servizi Ambientali Italia where he acted as Manager Director.
